2021 Year in Review—Looking Ahead to the Future
As we head into the coming year, we thought we’d take a moment to reflect on the past year, and also share some of what you can look forward to from Cape Henry Associates (CHA) in 2022.
If you’ve been following us on social media or reading our blog series, you’ll know that we spent most of 2021 highlighting the work of our Fog Bank division. This team spent a good portion of the year working on answering the question of how quickly and accurately artificial intelligence (AI) can identify various objects on the battlefield and how much manpower is required to assist the AI in its work. We presented the results in December at the annual I/ITSEC conference in Orlando.
We’ve also been hard at work updating our proprietary software and technology platforms, Lighthouse and FogLifter, to provide improved state-of-the-art services to our clients. We’ll be rolling them out soon. Contact us for more information.
In 2021, we were able to get a little bit “back to normal” after the pandemic effects of 2020. It was wonderful to connect in person with so many of you, though we’re grateful for the lessons learned about resiliency and efficiency. We implemented some changes to how we do things at CHA that are a direct result of learning how to adapt and overcome the challenges of a global pandemic.
What’s in store for 2022? In addition to the updated FogLifter and Lighthouse products, we have some exciting things lined up across CHA. We’ll continue with our “Behind the Scenes with CHA’s R&D” blog series, but we’ll also be shining some light on our other departments. We can’t say it enough: we’re only as strong as the talented, dedicated people who make up CHA. Judging on that alone, we’re confident 2022 is going to be a great year.
